Indoor Air Quality

We can test or identify almost any indoor air contaminants or materials. As a Certified Indoor Environmentalist we are trained to assess, evaluate and test any property to determine conditions and to come up with solutions. Being a member of IAQA for almost 22 years, experienced and knowledgeable of most conditions, we are the choice for all of your IAQ Solutions. We can perform testing with or without a home inspection.

Water Analysis

Certified through EMSL Analytical to perform Water Analysis of well or community water that meets any standard in the Industry including FHA and VA minimum requirements. Water tests include Coliform, E. Coli, Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite and Turbidity with a 2 or 3 Day turnaround. Reports are delivered as a PDF.file via email, easy to read and colored coded report. We can perform the water analysis with or without a home inspection.

Radon Testing

Radon comes from the natural (radioactive) breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water it is in the air you breathe. Gas from Radon can be found all over the U.S. It can get into any type of building—homes, offices, and schools—and result in a high indoor radon level. You and your family are most likely to get your greatest exposure at home or where you spend most of your time. Unfortunately Radon is estimated to cause thousands of lung cancer deaths in the U.S. each year. Testing for Radon is the only way to find Radon Gas.

EMF & RF Testing

Electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) and wireless radiation (Radiofrequencies or “RF”) have now become the largest, and most hazardous set of building toxins. Generally it is impossible to completely avoid EMFs in society, however, we can find the sources and reduce exposure in critical spaces. Symptoms and levels of severity can vary from person to person. Our job is to identify the intensity and source of the EMF or RF Signals.

Moisture Detection

Moisture or water entry anywhere in a home can cause severe damage, health concern and significant expense. Water intrusion entry is normally caused by many things such as plumbing leaks, roof leaks, condensation lines and exterior wall infiltration.

We identify the issues and recommend a solution for correction. We use our 22 years of experience, knowledge, Water Moisture Detection Equipment and IR Technology to help us diagnose the problem.

Common Testing

Mold Inspections & Testing – Tests that determine the Genre of mold that maybe present in a building. Types of Test include Air Spore Trap, Surface Tests (Swab or Tape Lift), and Bulk Testing, Viable or Non-Viable Tests are Available.
Air Sampling Traps – A technique that captures particles in the air using a vacuum pump, this sample is sent out a lab to determine what has been captured. There is a test for almost everything including allergens, asbestos, organic VOC’s, man made particles, etc.
TVOC – Total Volatile Organic Compounds: Gases released in the air that can be hazardous to ones health
TMVOC – Total Mold Volatile Organic Compounds: Mold gases released into the ambient air.
ERMi Test – Environmental Relative Moldiness index (ERMI) developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development (ORD).
Radon Testing – Radon is a naturally occurring gas that can only be detected through professional testing. It forms in the soil beneath a home, Radon can rise to dangerous levels, a second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S..

Specialty Testing

Water Testing – This is a water test that meets or exceeds FHA or VA minimal standards for any real estate transaction which includes E. Coli, Bacteria, Nitrate, Nitrite, Lead and Turbidity.
Dust Samples – A process using a vacuum or vacuum pump with a dust trap that captures the dust. In all cases the dust debris in the trap is sent to a lab for analysis.
Allergen Samples – Dust Sampling, Dust Mites, Dander, Insect Parts, Allergens, Mold Spores, Silica, etc.
Formaldehyde – (Air and Bulk Sampling) A colorless strong smelling gas found in water based solutions, chemicals, particleboard, glues, paper products, etc. It is a carcinogen, cancer hazard.
Legionella – This is a respiratory disease caused by Legionella bacteria. The bacteria can cause a serious type of pneumonia (lung infection).
Methamphetamine – A street drug made in homes, apartments, and condominiums, this drug normally leaves a residue which is not visible. We identify the substance by performing a specific test for Methamphetamine’s.
